Pictures/New Line Cinema Evil Dead Burn, the latest film in producers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell’s reimagined Evil Dead franchise, has sparked some positive reviews from Rotten Tomatoes critics. Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, Evil Dead Burn once again involves the Necronomicon, aka the Book of the Dead, which this time unleashes a demonic presence upon a widow, Alice (Souheila Yacoub) and her in-laws at the rundown, remote home after Alice’s husband, Will’s (George Pullar) tragic death. Before too long, the family members turn into Deadites and the number of people in the home to fight them is dwindling rapidly. The post The ‘Moana’ Rotten Tomatoes Critic Review Score Is A Disney Disaster appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
While The Odyssey dropped its social media embargo for early critic impressions nearly two weeks before release, Moana waited until the very last minute to do the same, stacking actual, full reviews the very same day. We are exactly one day before release, and those scored reviews are live. Going through many of them, it’s easy to see why Disney might have waited, given its horrific Rotten Tomatoes score. At a 32 % Rotten Tomatoes critic review score, the live-action Moana remake is on the worst score ever out of of the growing amount of live-action animation adaptations that Disney has done, often pulling in huge profits, answering the “why” of why they’re bothering to remake so many classics. That is a big criticism about this version of Moana, that it is often a shot-by-shot, line-by-line remake of the original, so why should it have been made at all? “Money” is not usu

Instead, producers Raimi and Tapert, along with Campbell — who has stepped back into an executive producer capacity for the franchise — have been taking a novel approach to the rebirth of the film series 13 years ago by hiring up-and-coming di
The post ‘The Odyssey’ Early Critic Reviews Render A Unanimous Verdict appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Almost two weeks before the release of The Odyssey on July 17, the social media embargo on the film has lifted, allowing critics to share impressions after an early screening. Social media mini-reviews are a somewhat odd, new-era phenomenon where critics are allowed a small tweet-size review, though are not allowed to give a score that would feed into the Rotten Tomatoes machine. The full review embargo will be later. But now? We can see that things are shaping up phenomenally for The Odyssey. These early critic reviews are uniformly positive – and in most cases, glowing. The film is being called one of Nolan’s best ever, one of the best Greek myth adaptations ever, a frontrunner for Best Picture and full of potential nominations for its sprawling cast, with Anne Hathaway and Samantha Morton singled out. There is skepticism among some in the public. Early reviews can often be mor

Pictures release. Courtesy of Warner Bros. Picture The 2021 release of Simon McQuoid’s long-awaited Mortal Kombat adaptation wasn’t exactly a failure, but it was no flawless victory either. For one thing, the film saw a muted gross ($84 million worldwide) as a result of Warner Bros.’ controversial day-and-date release strategy amidst the uncertainty of Covid-19. For another, longtime fans of the video game franchise known for its ostentatious roster of fighters and their ultra-violent finishing moves were not thrilled with the introduction of protagonist Cole Young (Lewis Tan), a character created specifically for the movie.
