The post Lim Kim, Bree Runway Collab Brings Korean ‘INSA’ To Ballroom Music appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
Lim Kim for “INSA” featuring Bree Runway KIM KIM From her early K-pop days to rising to critical acclaim as an independent artist, Lim Kim has rarely taken the easy road to crossover and her newest single finds the art-pop auteur turning an everyday Korean word into a track ready for the runway. The singer-songwriter released “INSA” on Thursday, July 9, featuring British pop provocateur Bree Runway, as the pre-release buzz single from her forthcoming album Exit to Nowhere. Paired with a visualizer shot in Italy, the duo’s sleek, dance-driven track speaks directly to fans of house and club music while also having broader appeal to pop and K-pop fans. At the center of the track is the seemingly simple title, “INSA,” which translates to “greeting” or “salutation” in Korean — essentially, the act of acknowledging another through words, a gesture or a formal bow. The tune arrived less than a month before Deadbeat became available, and while another song titled “My Old Ways” has also been pushed as a single since then, the focus for months has been on “Dracula.” Weeks after the tune became a hit, Tame Impala recruited Blackpink star Jennie to join a remix, and that versi

On July 9, the Fair Trade Commission of South Korea (KFTC) approved Mirae Asset Consulting’s acquisition of 92.06% of the cryptocurrency exchange Korbit. This is the first time that a subsidiary of a significant Korean financial institution has been permitted to buy a licensed digital asset exchange. South Korea has demonstrated one approach to make use of and did not have to break down the barriers between finance and cryptocurrency. Mirae Asset Consulting is paying 133.4 billion won for the acquisition (equivalent to $97.9 million based on Bank of Kor
